The capsule collection
A New Collection committed to support local production
The success of the first Atelier Bompard cashmere collection last year for the Autumn-Winter 22 season, along with strong customer demand prompted Eric Bompard's teams to step up a gear.
Three times as many lines and twice as many pieces will be available in autumn 2023 for the second French-made capsule collection.
Atelier Bompard, available on a limited-edition basis at www.ericbompard.com and in selected stores.
A committed, long-term partnership
“We're delighted to be working with Eric Bompard, the leading cashmere expert. The Atelier Bompard collection enables us to give a new lease of life to French expertise and helps to revitalise the sustainable knitwear ecosystem’’ Karine Renouil-Thibergien, Co-CEO of Manufacture de Tricots Jean Ruiz in Roanne.
A woven history
It took Eric Bompard and its partners more than a year to launch this initiative last year, with the search for workshops capable of spinning cashmere, creating prototypes, finalising production details and logistics.
Technology serving unique expertise
These incredibly comfortable pieces have been seamlessly knitted using a 3D tubular machine, the most advanced technology available in the world of luxury knitwear. This complex technique makes it possible to showcase the unique quality of Eric Bompard cashmeres through the production of more hard-wearing pullovers and accessories.
The decision to locate part of the production in France has culminated this year in a more complete collection, featuring twelve women's, men's and accessory items in around fifteen colours, compared to four last year.
