How long will the delivery take ?

Delivery takes 4 business days for France. For European countries, delivery will takes 6 business days. For all other destinations, delivery is 8 business days.

How much will the delivery cost ?

Transport costs are calculated according to three zones:

- zone 1 : Metropolitan France : transport costs of 7,20 euros;
- zone 2 : DOM-TOM and Europe : transport costs of 10 euros;
- zone 3 : Other destinations : transport costs of 15 euros (or around 18 USD).

I have received my order but I would like to change it or ask for a refund.

Simple, just send the parcel back to us within 15 days of the delivery date together with the receipt. Send it by registered post as we may not be responsible for any lost or unreturned items. You can ask for a full refund, exchange, or credit note valid for one year. For an exchange, delivery is free. For a refund, please provide your credit card details. For countries outside the European Union, remember to indicate to the customs that this a “return for non conformity”.

I live outside the European Union. Will my order be VAT free ?

Yes. If you are a resident outside the European Union, prices and transport costs will automatically be calculated VAT free (VAT of 19.6%).

How do I know my order has been accepted ?

Once you have placed your order, a confirmation will appear with your order number. You will also receive a confirmation of your order by email.

Can I send someone a gift ?

A great idea. Just ask for our giftwrap service when ordering, tell us the message you would like to send and we will deliver your gift. Don't forget to indicate if the delivery address is different from the payment address. You can also have a look at our gift ideas.

How do I Pay ?

You can pay online with your credit or debit card: Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express and JCB.

Will my credit card payment be secure ?

Any transaction is completely confidential and carried out in a secured environment. We use one of the most reliable secure payment systems available on the Internet: the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol via our partner ATOS. All of your credit card details are protected and encrypted before they are sent for processing and are never kept on our website. Your credit card is debited at the time of the secured transaction in the currency of the order.

Can I pay by cheque ?

We only accept French cheques from customers within Metropolitan France. Cheques should be in euros and made payable to ERIC BOMPARD SA. The order number and “commande Internet” should be indicated at the back of the cheque. Cheques should be sent to: Eric Bompard SA, Vente par Correspondance, 22 rue Louis Blanc, 93585 Saint-Ouen Cedex. The order will be dispatched as soon as the cheque is received.

Can I pay by contre remboursement ?

We accept payment by contre remboursement from customers within Metropolitan France. The post tax of 7,78 euros will be added to the transport costs. Payment should be made on receipt of the parcel by cash or cheque made payable to LA POSTE.

Why do very different cashmere qualities exist? What is the guarantee of Eric Bompard to offer an exceptional cashmere quality?

The worldwide production of raw cashmere is 14 000 tons, of which inner and outside Mongolia produce together 70%. The remaining 30% come from central Asia. These small quantities do not allow a very large distribution. However, 40% of this production are mixed with different fibres’ lengths, with different raw yarns’ colours, with some impurities, which artificially increase the cashmere’s offer. As the partner of the largest worldwide cashmere producer, we would like to stress that we only deal with the thinner yarn’s diameter, which improves the fitness and the strength of the yarn. We also only deal with the longer fibres, which improves the quality of the spinning. Our pullovers are then subject to many quality controls, especially regarding the finishing of all details, the dyeing of the raw material before spinning, the fully-fashioned details and the washing time. Benefiting from this high technology, we have all the ingredients to get the very best of cashmere quality.

Who creates Eric Bompard's designs ?

Where does Eric Bompard cashmere come from?

Eric Bompard cashmere comes from Mongolia. The super-soft material comes from the goats roaming the nomadic regions. Combed once or twice a year, the goat down provides 250 to 300 grams of cashmere.

What does the number of ply mean ?

The number of ply indicates how we knitted the pullover, with either ultra fine knit or heavy knit. The higher the number of ply - the warmer the pullover!

I would like to know more about the fine finishing of Eric Bompard cashmere pullovers.

The finishing of Eric Bompard's knitwear is unique. We use a looping and knit-narrowing technique to ensure there are no visible seams. Buttons are made of natural materials, mother-of-pearl or Corozo.

How often should I wash a cashmere pullover ?

You should wash your Eric Bompard cashmere as often as possible to make it even softer. We recommend washing your cashmere after wearing it two or three times. For further details, please look at our washing instructions.

Are accessories knitted or woven?

All accessories which start with the reference AK are knitted. All other accessories are woven and are dry clean only.
